Adverbs of place tell us where something or someone is. Here are some common adverbs:
Above: The lamp is above the table.
Below: The shoes are under the bed.
In front: The car is in front of the house.
Behind: The chair is behind the door.
Inside: The cat is inside the box.
Outside: The dog is outside the house.
