Interrogative pronouns are the ones we use to ask questions. In Spanish, there are two signs (¿?) that are used to let our interlocutor know that we are asking a question, because if they are not used, the sentence changes its meaning, that is, it may seem like a statement. For example: "¿Estás contento?" (Are you happy?) is asking a question, while "Estás contento" (You are happy) is a statement.
